The Batman movie will be released in 2022 and it will feature the Riddler playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse with Batman and Commissioner Gordon in Gotham City. Compared to his predecessors, this new Batman reboot is expected to show more sides of Batman/Bruce Wayne to the general audiences. Fans across the globe are eagerly waiting for this blockbuster directed by famous Matt Reeves. Currently, the cinemas are filled with great superhero movies especially MCU with a lot of incoming projects. Thus, it will have a tough completion for the Dark Knight with another incarnation.
For now, some film casts have already announced their roles in the movies. Both fan favorites and brand-new characters will be available soon when the filmmakers reveal more details. As of today, we have listed some confirmed characters to appear in ‘The Batman.
#1 Commissioner James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright) will appear in the Movie.
The popular role has been performed by Gary Oldman, J.K. Simmons, and others. So, Jeffrey Wright appears to be an excellent candidate. Wright played a terrific police chief straight out of Westworld, so he would make an excellent chief of police in The Batman.
#2 Paul Dano will portray the main antagonist, The Riddler.
In the teaser, the Riddler has been performing mind tricks with Bruce Wayne, implying another more detective-themed movie than previous iterations of Batman. After Joker, the Riddler is regarded to be Batman’s biggest nemesis.
#3 Colin Farrell will portray the Penguin, Batman’s villain
This future DC movie will include an actor who is just as important as Batman. Nevertheless, in the teaser, Colin Farrell looks to be a purely fictional Penguin. Despite this, with Farrell’s outstanding performance, viewers can expect a formidable and frightening antagonist for Batman.
#4 Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz) with Batman as an ally, an enemy, or a lover?
The film’s producers haven’t revealed anything about her character. Yet, it is unclear how they will manage with a character like Catwoman. In the comics, her status as both hero and villain has frequently varied. She is also Batman’s sweetheart.
#5 John Turturro will play crime lord Carmine Falcone
John Turturro plays the character as Batman’s enemy, playing infamous criminal leader Carmine Falcone.
#6 Alfred Pennyworth (Michael Caine) will be Batman’s right-hand man again

There is no Bella character in the comics, therefore it may be one developed by Matt Reeves. She might also be concealing her actual identity as a future Batman antagonist.
