Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys are in desperate need of a bye week after suffering a humiliating 47-9 defeat to the Detroit Lions on Sunday at AT&T Stadium. With the team struggling, his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, was also present in the stands but did not have the best experience.
Ramos took to her Instagram story to post a video of Prescott entering the field, a stark reminder of the day’s disappointing events. The Cowboys’ offense had a tough outing, with Prescott finishing the game 17-of-33 for 178 yards, two interceptions, and no touchdowns, while being sacked four times.

For the 2024 season, Prescott has a completion rate of 63.4%, totaling 1,602 yards. However, his eight touchdown passes are overshadowed by six interceptions and four fumbles in just six games.
Dak Prescott Must Deliver on His Massive Contract
Last month, Prescott signed a groundbreaking $240 million contract extension, making him the first NFL player to earn $60 million annually, most of which is guaranteed. Living up to this hefty contract is a pressing concern as he has yet to lead the Cowboys back to playoff contention.
Currently, Prescott ranks third all-time in passing yards for the Cowboys, but that will mean little if he doesn’t guide the team back to the postseason and towards a Super Bowl run. The path to proving his worth starts with the upcoming Week 7 bye, followed by a challenging game against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 8.
As the pressure mounts, Prescott needs to step up and deliver the performances expected from him, especially given the significant investment the Cowboys have made in him.
