Emerald Robinson, a Newsmax White House journalist, has been pulled off the screen as the organization investigates a tweet she wrote about a false vaccination conspiracy theory.
“Newsmax is currently reviewing the posts and during that period Ms. Emerald Robinson will not be on air but continue with duties for the network,” the channel stated in a comment.
“Dear Christians: the vaccines contain a bioluminescent marker called LUCIFERASE so that you can be tracked. Read the last book of the New Testament to see how this end,” Emerald Robinson said in a tweet earlier this week. The message was taken down by Twitter after it was found to be in violation of its terms of service. The “bioluminescent marker” and associated tracking devices are not included in the Covid-19 vaccinations (linked to Satan or otherwise).
The channel has attempted to disassociate itself against the tweet, saying in a comment from chief content director Elliot Jacobson earlier this week that “Newsmax is a strong proponent of Covid-19 vaccines being overarchingly effective and safe, while also expressing concern that mandates infringe on personal liberty and privacy.” We have found no indication that LUCIFERASE or LUCIFERIN are employed as bioluminescent markers or are contained in any vaccines.” “False accusations have never been reported on Newsmax,” according to the publication.
Emerald Robinson’s encounters with White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki at the daily briefing have gotten her a lot of attention on the beat.
