- Warner Bros., also responsible for the Fantastic Beasts series featuring Depp, adds to speculation about his future projects.
Among expectations that Disney has plans for his comeback to the movie series Pirates of the Caribbean 6 in the character of Captain Jack Sparrow, Johnny Depp was spotted leaving Warner Bros. Studios in Leavesden hand in hand with Pirates co-star Stephen Graham.
The two were seen in high spirits with bursts of laughter, and Depp was also seen with his arm around Graham. Interestingly, Warner Bros. is the studio behind the Fantastic Beasts series, wherein the former actor had previously played Gellert Grindelwald before being replaced by Mads Mikkelsen in the latest entry.
His sighting came days after he claimed that there was no ill will from his side and he is open to new opportunities.

Of course, the first thing that needs to be mentioned here is that the studio behind this meeting is Warner Bros., and while both actors are most famous for their roles in Disney‘s Pirates of the Caribbean film series, Depp took up the dearly loved role of Captain Jack Sparrow, and Graham shared the screen with him in the role of pirate Scrum in its later entries.
While what the two luminaries met for exactly is yet to be known, fans of the original Pirates of the Caribbean series have continued to vent in comments and replies that another film in the series would be devoid of its essential character without Depp’s resumption of Jack Sparrow.

According to scooper Daniel Richtman, Disney has, in fact, expressed interest in bringing back Depp for future projects. If nothing else, his most recent update on his mental health at least gives fans hope that they’ll see Depp back in the skin of that swashbuckler.
The relationship between Johnny Depp and Stephen Graham
Johnny Depp and Stephen Graham appeared to share a good working relationship and comradery during the entirety of their stint in the Pirates of the Caribbean series. Stephen Graham played the character Scrum from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) and then continued in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017).
They were known to have great interactions while on set, and even Graham himself had positive words to say about Depp in various interviews. He praised Depp’s professionalism and the hard work he used to put into acting, citing examples where Depp used to improvise his performances, and this used to work wonders in favor of the films.
This reciprocated respect made the collaboration fruitful in the Pirate of the Caribbean series, in which the dynamic chemistry on screen was at an all-time high. They also seemed to be friends out of the sets, and it never looked like fake mutual admirations.
