It’s no secret that Julie Bowen has been gracing our screens since the ’90s, bringing her comedic genius and infectious energy to every role she plays! Of course, we all remember her as the iconic Claire Dunphy on Modern Family, which ran for an epic 11 seasons. Sadly, the show ended in 2020, but we’re still crossing our fingers for a reunion or spin-off!

#1. 2001: Post-Happy Gilmore and ER Era
Remember Julie in Happy Gilmore? Well, after that, she totally rocked the scrubs as a nurse on ER from 1998 to 2000. She also snagged roles in movies like Venus and Mars and Joe Somebody, and even starred in the TV show Ed from 2000 to 2004. Talk about a busy bee!
#2. 2003: Casual Chic
Julie looked effortlessly stylish in this 2003 pic, rocking a simple black blouse and jeans. Proof that she’s always been a fashion icon!
#3. 2005: Married with Children (Literally!)
In 2004, Julie tied the knot with Scott Phillips. They welcomed their son Oliver and then adorable twin boys, John and Gustave. Can you say “supermom”?
#4. 2008: Red Carpet with the Little Man
Julie brought her eldest son, Oliver, to a rare red carpet event in Beverly Hills. Too cute!
#5. 2010: Twin Time!
This amazing mama of three showed up at an event with her adorable twins, just a year after Modern Family first aired. We can’t get over how cute they are!
#6. 2012: Award Show Queen
Julie’s incredible talent was recognized in 2012 when she snagged the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series AND the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series! You go, girl!
#7. 2014: Modern Family Takes Home the Gold
The Modern Family cast, including Julie, won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series in 2014. Well-deserved!
#8. 2016: Red Carpet Ready
Julie looked absolutely radiant at the 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards in a stunning white halter-neck dress with a belt. We’re obsessed!
#9. 2019: Voiceover Superstar and Life Changes
While starring in Modern Family, Julie also lent her voice to some of our favorite animated shows like DuckTales and Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure. Sadly, Modern Family aired its final episode on April 8, 2020.
In her personal life, Julie and Scott divorced in 2018.
#10. 2024: Happy Gilmore 2 and Hysteria!
Get ready for this: Julie is starring in Happy Gilmore 2 with Adam Sandler! She also landed the lead role in a new series called Hysteria!
In September 2024, she spilled some tea about the Happy Gilmore sequel on the Today show. Jenna Bush Hager asked if her character and Adam’s character were still together, and Julie confirmed they are “very much together.” We can’t wait to see it!
