Various Imperial Inquisitors, malevolent fallen Jedi who, following Darth Vader’s direction, sought for and destroyed survivors of Order 66, have been featured in Star Wars canon. The Inquisitors are a hidden and dangerous squad of dark side practitioners initially featured in Star Wars Rebels and later serving significant parts in Jedi: Fallen Order and the Star Wars: Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith comic book. Although they did not exist at the time of the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story as well as Star Wars, they were originally an important instrument of the Empire and the Sith in their effort to eradicate the Jedi and establish galactic dominance.
Trained by Darth Vader himself, the Inquisitors are Sith in all but name (Rule of two – there can only be two Dark Lords at a time). By the time the Death Star plans were stolen, however, the Inquisitors as an organization were long since dissolved. But who are the Inquisitors, what was their place in the Empire, and what are their fates?
#1 Grand Inquisitor
His presence was short-lived, since he died at the end of the first season. He was a striking, intimidating Pau’an who followed former Padawan Kanan Jarrus and future Jedi Ezra Bridger. His history indicated that he was one of the Jedi Temple Guards that apprehended the treacherous Jedi- Barriss Offee. Furthermore, inside the Empire, his dark side abilities were ranked second only to those of Darth Vader and Darth Sidious.
#2 Second Sister
She survived Order 66 alongside her master Junda, she’s formerly known as Padawan Trilla Suduri. Trilla‘s whereabouts, on the other hand, was revealed to the Imperials by Junda. Trilla became one of the cruelest and most dreaded Inquisitors after feeling betrayed by her master.
#3 Fifth Brother
The Fifth Brother was supposed to take the place of the Grand Inquisitor by tracking down the two Jedi who had vanquished him. In his battles with Kanan and Ezra, he was almost completely unconcerned about technique and instead relied on physical power. During Season 2 of Rebels, he cooperated closely with the Seventh Sister.
#4 Sixth Brother
The Sixth Brother, formerly called as Bil Valen, lost his arm in practicing with Darth Vader after joining the Inquisitorius. He was an arrogant tyrant who brutalized the helpless and vulnerable but had little chance versus formidable opponents. He was, however, a coward, since he severed the Ninth Sister’s leg to allow himself to flee once.
#5 Seventh Sister
Seventh, together with her accomplice, the Fifth Brother, was among the most powerful villains of Rebels season 2. Her expert utilization of ID9 Parrot Droids balanced out his overwhelming strength. Throughout the season, the two came perilously close to beating Kanan and Ezra.
#6 Eight Brother
Maul was tracked down by the Eighth Brother. He joined hands with the Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister when he chased him down to Malachor. Maul killed the Fifth and Seventh Brothers, and the Eighth Brother tried to flee the battle but died when his helicopter-like saber was broken.
#7 Ninth sister
Masana Tide, a former Jedi, had her leg severed by the Sixth Brother. Nonetheless, she lived and traveled to the summit of the Origin Tree to locate Cal Kestis. Cal, on the other hand, ultimately emerged victorious and knocked her from the tree, where she died.
#8 The Tenth Brother
Prosser Dibs became dissatisfied with the Jedi teachings and committed treason by attempting to murder Mace Windu in their assignment. Windu’s petition with the Jedi High Council saved his life. However, after the fall of the Republic, Dibs joined the Inquisitorius.
#9 Unknown Male Twi’lek Inquisitor
This unidentified Inquisitor was highly un-Imperial, which led to his tragic demise at the hands of Darth Vader. Despite his soft side, he wasn’t really incompetent, as he assisted Sith in capturing Jedi Master and his relatives. Because the Jedi Order forbids ties, he found his romantic desire in a fellow Inquisitor to be extremely liberating.
#10 Unknown Female Inquisitor
The unknown Inquisitor was the one who shared feelings for the nameless Twi’lek. She, like her partner, was brutal in performing her Inquistor missions, but she was also prepared to battle Vader for her love. Vader, predictably, murdered both of them.
