Shazam has had a long history in the DC universe. He was already famous back in the Golden Age when we used to call him “Captain Marvel” (yes, the name that now belongs to a different superhero in the Marvel universe). Nowadays we don’t call him that anymore, his name is now Shazam. And then we have the Shazam family in which Billy Batson, aka, Shazam and his friends use their superpowers to save the world, fragile people.
In 2019, our hero got his own live-action movie called Shazam!. In it, the Shazam family or, as I like to call them, the “Shazamily” made a remarkable entrance with their colorful superhero costumes. it’s quite unforgettable, to be honest. But the movie didn’t do enough work to tell us who’s who? So, we are here to share with you the identity of Shazamily’s members. SHAZAM!!
#1 Billy Batson
Billy possess the ultimate superpower that an ancient wizard gave him it consist of: the wisdom of Solomon, the strength of Hercules, the stamina of Atlas, the power of Zeus, the courage of Achilles and the speed of Mercury.
#2 Freddy Freeman
Freddy is Billy’s best friend for as long as they can remember. In Shazam form, Freddy is super-humanly strong, much more resistant to physical damage, and able to fly.
#3 Mary Bromfield
Back in the Golden Age, she had the code named Mary Marvel. She’s also the oldest member of the family, so her transformation from kid to superhero is much less pronounced.
#4 Pedro Pena
Pedro is a reserved boy with some pretty lofty physical fitness aspirations. Luckily for him, in his Shazam form, he’s basically a power-lifter. Much more physically intimidating and stronger than his siblings
#5 Darla Dudley
Darla is an active and talkative little girl, her superpower in Shazam form is similar to other except that she’s much faster than her siblings and wears a purple uniform.
#6 Eugene Choi
In his Shazam form, Eugene possessing the family’s typical powers he’s also a techno-path, he can manipulate with technologythrough his mind.
