The earliest teaser of Hocus Pocus 2, the much-anticipated sequel for the popular horror-comedy, has been released, introducing the initial look for the comeback of the Sanderson Sisters.
Salem, keep the kids locked up because the Sanderson Sisters are back in the earliest Hocus Pocus 2 teaser. The new movie is set up in the context of 29 years following what happened in the original fantasy horror-comedy, focusing on Becca, Cassie and Izzy, 3 high school girls who discover a custom that says witches acquire their powers on their 16th birthday. The Sanderson Sisters are unintentionally awakened by the three as they attempt to perform a ritual by lighting the Black Flame Candle, and they must be stopped before they cause trouble in Salem.
The Sanderson Sisters, portrayed by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy would make their comeback to the fantasy horror-comedy to lead the cast, which will also include Sam Richardson, Doug Jones, Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham, Whitney Peak, Belissa Escobedo, Lilia Buckingham, Froyan Gutierez and Tony Hale. With the script written by Jen D’Angelo, Anne Fletcher will replace the original director Kenny Ortega to helm the production. After a protracted development period, Hocus Pocus 2 will ultimately hit theaters later 2022, and spectators are now enjoying the first look of it.
