After the release of “Turning Red”, the movie got great reviews from critics and movie buffs who pointed out its animation style, story, humor, and use of culture as some of its strengths. Combined with its huge Disney+ debut, the movie is a big success. Less than a week after its release, the film holds a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Fans are obsessed with not only the interesting plot but the adorable characters. To express his love for the film, a talented artist with his Instagram account named “roytheart_” recreated the characters of the movie in the most gorgeous way. Each of the characters wears different traditional costumes that totally fit their appearance. Millions of viewers swooned at the mixing colors of the artist.

Mei Lee is the first Asian protagonist in a Pixar movie. Mei’s story is really like that of many children out there whose parents’ expectations weigh on their childhood, which usually turns out to have unhappy consequences. In the movie, Mei bravely faces her emotions, and she finally feels ready to explore who she is and embrace all aspects of her personality.
