The first trailer for Black Adam, the next DCEU film that will bring up the Justice Society of America, features Dwayne Johnson as its title character.
The first trailer for Black Adam, the upcoming DCEU film that is about to debut the titular antihero, stars Dwayne Johnson. For the wrestler-turned-actor, Black Adam has long been a passion project, and Johnson has been quite transparent about the highly-anticipated film’s development process.

The Justice Society of America, which will be introduced in the movie, includes Black Adam and other heroes including Atom Smasher, Hawkman, Cyclone, and Doctor Fate, all of which will be portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan, respectively. Besides, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, and Mo Amer are also among the cast members.
Serving as an original story for Black Adam, the character played by Dwayne Johnson, the movie is deemed to examine the background of the character, while also serving to re-introduce him 5 millennia later, after he was released from his prison. It remains unknown how this will affect the Justice Society of America, but it’s likely that Black Adam could be in conflict with the new group of heroes.

The movie has been postponed multiple times because of the COVID-19 pandemic, most lately to October 2022. Despite this, excitement for the film has stayed on top, particularly following the earliest footage of Black Adam, revealed at DC FanDome.
And now, the first official trailer of Black Adam has been released by Warner Bros., introducing the anti-hero portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, who delves into his own past and following release from incarceration. Then, the Justice Society of America’s members, including Atom Smasher, Dr. Fate, and Hawkman, has been introduced, together with their abilities.
The teaser also depicts a clash between the JSA and Black Adam, though it is unclear about the method and motivation for this to occur. Take a look at the following video:
The movie teaser appears to be nothing similar to all that had happened thus far in the DC Extended Universe. The anti-hero Black Adam will undoubtedly face both the JSA and some type of government troops, though the reason for this remains unknown until now.
The titular character doesn’t hesitate to kill, pitting him against the heroes, and again, it remains mysterious who he’s trying to kill the movie. With its brief duration, Black Adam’s teaser trailer appears to conceal a great deal.

Prior to the release of the trailer, Funko POPs disclosed upon the adversary of Black Adam, Sabbac, but the antagonist does not appear in the trailer. Supposedly, Black Adam will have to cooperate with the JSA to fight this greater threat, at some point in the film, though Warner Bros. is hiding this for the film itself or for the next trailer, that might be released before the movie’s premiere in October.
Regardless, the Black Adam teaser is a fascinating peek at the upcoming DC film, which teases an totallly new cast of heroes (and one anti-hero) who, according to Johnson, will change “the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe.
