Christmas spirit is in the air. We, movie and TV show fans, are looking forwards to this year’s merry holiday dramas and series. While waiting for them, we reminisce about the old-but-gold Christmas movies we used to gather and watch with our families under the flame tree. When we talk about Christmas movies, we talk about Santa, reindeer, elves, and naughty and nice children. We can not imagine what Christmas shows would be like without kid actors.
Nevertheless, “All children, except one, grow up.”, said Peter Pan. Those cute kid actors in Noel’s shows from the 2000s and before are all grown up. In the 2022 winter, let’s look at the “then and now” albums of Hollywood stars who used to appear in Boxing Day movies!

#1. Miffy Englefield

In fact, she’s a parent herself, to an adorable little girl. Miffy Englefield played Graham’s daughter Sophie in the classic Christmas movie The Holiday, and now she’s a mother of a two-year-old girl!
#2. Kieran Culkin

Culkin’s real-life little brother, Kieran, portrayed his annoying cousin Fuller, in the Home Alone films. The actor married Jazz Charton in 2013. They share two children: a daughter Kinsley and a son born in August 2021.
#3. Paige Tamada

Paige Tamada, who played The Santa Clause’s sweet, scene-stealing elf Judy, later graduated from U.C. Berkeley and now works as a retail industry executive.
#4. David Krumholtz

Playing Bernard, the original elf in charge of Santa’s workshop, David Krumholtz had previously been one of the breakout stars of the cult favorite Addams Family Values. He has two kids now and is a thyroid cancer survivor.
#5. Taylor Momsen

She portrayed the character of Cindy Lou Who in the film How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000). She retired from acting and works in music and fashion now. Momsen has been the frontwoman of the American rock girl band The Pretty Reckless.
#6. Daniel Tay

It’s been nearly 20 years since Daniel Tay landed his most well-known role Will Ferrel in Elf (2003). The young star went on to appear in a few more projects but has kept a low profile and earned his last movie credit with Brooklyn Rules in 2007.

Following 2018’s The Christmas Chronicles, Darby Camp’s career took off. In just a few years, she’s appeared in Big Little Lies, The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two, Gaslit, and Clifford the Big Red Dog.
#8. Emily Alyn Lind

Emily Alyn Lind was just 8 years old when she took on the powerful role of Vanessa Marks in 2010’s November Christmas. She has since starred in fan-favorite dramas, such as Revenge and the Gossip Girl reboot.
#9. Natalie Wood

The Hollywood legend began her impressive career playing Susan in the original Miracle on 34th Street (1947). After cementing her superstar status, the actress tragically passed away when she drowned on a boat trip in 1981.
#10. Liliana Mumy

After starring in 2002’s The Santa Clause 2, Liliana Mumy went on to make a name for herself in Hollywood, starring in Winx Club, Sofia the First, and more. Her most recognizable role was playing one of the Bakers in 2003’s Cheaper by the Dozen.
#11. Jake Lloyd

After starring in Jingle All the Way (1996), Jake landed the iconic role of young Luke Skywalker in Star Wars 1: The Phantom Menace. Following these early successes, Jake removed himself from acting after being bullied at school. He was arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase in 2015.
