Matthew Mindler, a former child star, killed himself by taking sodium nitrate from Amazon.com, according to his mother.
Matthew Mindler paid $15 for the item. He died of sodium nitrate poisoning, according to the Lancaster County Medical Examiner’s Office. Sodium nitrate is a preservative that kills by lowering blood pressure and restricting oxygen supply to the body.
Monica Mindler, Matthew Mindler’s mother, said she uncovered the Amazon link following her son’s murder when searching through his online search history. The actor sought up where to get sodium nitrate and how it was used to end life in a painless manner. She claims he ordered enough to murder four individuals.
Monica Mindler stated that she wanted to alert other families who may be ignorant of the substance’s hazards. Amazon has yet to respond.
