Every successful athlete has someone who fuels their journey, and for Cooper Beebe, the Dallas Cowboys’ rookie center, that guiding light has been crucial to his rapid ascent in the NFL.
While Beebe’s raw talent and athleticism are evident, it’s his mother, Tamara Beebe, who has played an instrumental role in shaping his performance on the field. As he transitioned to the center position, Mama Beebe’s support and coaching have been invaluable.
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy acknowledged her significant impact, stating, “His snapping improved from training camp around 272 percent, and we credit his mother for that.”

Tamara Beebe’s dedication has been a game-changer for her son, helping him refine his skills and become an essential part of the Cowboys’ offensive line. The Cowboys selected Beebe with the 73rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, coming from Kansas State where he was a Unanimous All-American playing guard. Transitioning to center for his rookie season presented a challenge, but his mother’s guidance has eased that shift.
In July, Beebe’s father, Tom, shared a touching video of Tamara working with Cooper in their backyard, focusing on his snapping technique. The early coaching paid off; through the first five weeks of the season, Beebe has allowed just two sacks, one hit, and five pressures, while committing only two penalties, according to Pro Football Focus.

In Week 4 against the New York Giants, Beebe faced off against their All-Pro defensive tackle and held his ground, allowing no pressures in 22 pass-blocking snaps. The following week against the Steelers, Beebe ranked fourth among rookie offensive linemen with a mere 2.2% pressure rate, allowing just one pressure on 45 pass-blocking snaps.
As Cooper Beebe continues to develop, it’s clear that the influence of his mother will remain a pivotal factor in his ongoing journey in the NFL.
