The comparison goes beyond their similar looks. Stone’s rise in Hollywood during the late 2000s coincided with Lohan’s career stalled, largely due to her struggles with drug use and legal issues.

“Can we film a movie called ‘Mean Girls 2’ together?” Lohan wrote in a now-deleted birthday post from 2017. “I think we would be friends” (per BuzzFeed).
Although the proposal never materialized—perhaps because a made-for-TV “Mean Girls 2” starring Meaghan Martin already exists—it seemed like Lohan’s attempt to make peace with her perceived rival.
Meanwhile, Stone has said very little about Lohan. In fact, her only comment regarding Lohan was an admission to The Herald Sun that Lohan is the true redhead between the two of them (per The Daily Beast).
