Fans always love to see their favorite musicians and singers appear on the big screen, so cameos are a good idea to draw more of them to the cinema. Many famous musicians starred as guests in well-known movies. Some fancy to show up in plenty of features. On the other hand, some are barely known to have been cast.
Cameos are like surprising gifts for audiences. It is exciting to see similar faces that are not Hollywood actors playing random roles in the movies. The best thing about movie cameos is that a few stars in the music industry could even become cinematically legendary thanks to several seconds on set. Nobody expected them to be such a surprise.

According to Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld, Michael Jackson loved the first MIB movie so much that he asked to be in the sequel. In the King of Pop‘s cameo, Jackson is an alien who pleads with MIB leader Zed (Rip Torn) to be made into an official MIB agent.

Black Eyed Peas singer Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson tackled the role of Gloria, a singer on the luxury liner during its New Year’s Eve festivities, her first major film role in “Poseidon,” a remake of 1972’s “The Poseidon Adventure”.

Genesis drummer and acclaimed solo artist Phil Collins appears as Inspector Good – the British detective charged with trying to find adult Peter’s two children when they’re taken by Captain Hook.
#7. Celine Dion in Muppets Most Wanted (2014)

Celine Dion made her cinematic debut in Muppets Most Wanted. The diva serves as a mentor figure to Miss Piggy, who needs some friendly words of advice on the night before her wedding to Kermit the Frog. Dion and Miss Piggy sing the song “Something So Right” together.
#8. Chester Bennington in Saw 3D: The Final Chapter (2010)

A victim of Saw franchise villain and antagonist Jigsaw (Tobin Bell), racist skinhead Evan – played by late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington – wakes up superglued to a car seat in his cameo during the seventh film.

The singer dons a wife-beater vest to appear briefly in David Lynch’s neo-noir mystery film as an adulterer, caught having an affair with the wife of film director Adam Kesher (Justin Theroux).
#10. Ian Brown in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)

British musician Ian Brown, best known as the lead singer of the rock band The Stone Roses as well as a successful solo career, appears in the third film adaption, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, as the wizard sitting in the Leaky Cauldron reading A Brief History of Time.
#11. Avril Lavigne in Fast Food Nation 2006

Canadian princess Avril Lavigne made her acting debut in a film about the evils of the fast food industry. She donned as Alice, one of the young activists rebelling against the industry.
#12. Mariah Carey In ‘You Don’t Mess With The Zohan’
