Promotional Image for The Umbrella Academy Season 4 Teases the Comeback of Cha-Cha
More promotional images are surfacing as fans feverishly await a glimpse of The Umbrella Academy season 4 from teasers and trailers. These have just been released by the EW, and in them, one can get a better idea of what lies ahead for the Hargreeves siblings.
In the first, the entire Umbrella Academy, Sparrow Ben, and Lila hang out in the middle of what looks like an abandoned parking lot around Diego’s van, affectionately referred to as “Wanda.”
In the back of the scene—between the tension of Klaus talking to Lila while everyone else looks on—all of the observant viewers may notice that the ground is scattered with car parts, lightbulbs, and one very defining pink bear mask that should recall Cha-Cha’s main weapon of choice from season 1.
Cha-Cha and Hazel, two time-traveling agents from The Commission who were sent to stop Number Five from stopping the apocalypse, were major players in the first season of the show, but the differences between the two were stark.
While Hazel found redemption and a chance to start over with Agnes, Cha-Cha remained fully committed to the cause of The Commission, willing to continue even as the world was burning. When the first season.
Mary J. Blige’s Return to The Umbrella Academy is Long Awaited
While season 1 of The Umbrella Academy took some massive departures from the comics, the character of Cha-Cha is an equally strong figure in her own right, despite the changes, which is really a plus point.
Mary J. Blige‘s portrayal of the character won her applause from all corners, making fans wish for more and more from her, which this fervor heightened thanks to Hazel’s return in season 2 and then ultimately his death at the hands of the Swedish assassins sent by The Commission.
Among the many threats the Hargreeves siblings face, Cha-Cha is by far the most highly tactical and ruthless, harnessing strategic intellect with hand-to-hand and weapons skills to carry out orders from The Commission.
More is to be done and learned with regard to her character, so season four of The Umbrella Academy will be very much awaited for her return.
Reviving Cha-Cha for Season 4: Overcoming Her Season 1 Death
Throughout its seasons so far, The Umbrella Academy has followed the story of the Hargreeves siblings, who have bounced through different timelines—picked up from the year 2019 and dropped in the 1960s and even changes to the very baseline of their own timeline—so now, in the manipulated timeline, the reset remains a mystery; hence, literally, anyone or anything can be resurrected.
Season 4 will be dealing with the multiverse, a fact pretty visible, considering the very complicated timeline woven by the Hargreeves by now. It could mean Cha-Cha’s return, apart from the one who might be a more friendly, friendly form of her—that is, friendly in her situation with her employer—or maybe the return of Cha-Cha through the surprise reset Rolle that Reginald has established.
But, of course, the enigmatic image, with all its portrayal of the Hargreeves and Wanda, could afford some clues. Perhaps it could be showing a reality in which Cha-Cha thrived and was once again a key agent for The Commission in its re-establishment in some reset timeline. Or, maybe, it opens up the possible resurgence of Cha-Cha in the present timeline, and that with its re-establishment is back.
