We believe that every one of us has at least one celebrity crush, and we can all recall having pictures of our favorite boy band member or actress on the wall when we were kids. Since we are aware that there is almost no possibility that we would meet these people and make friends, celebrity crushes are enjoyable for normal people.
What about famous people who have openly confessed to having feelings for other famous people? According to research, more than 50% of Americans have experienced feelings for a coworker. And even celebrities occasionally develop feelings for a colleague with whom they collaborate. This is even more interesting because, unlike us, they might get the chance to meet in person. However, being a celebrity does not mean that the other coworker would have the same feelings for you.

During the filmmaking process, Hilary Duff admits to having a crush on her co-star and on-screen love interest, Chad Michael Murray. She confessed that she was nervous about shooting kissing scenes with him, but that it wasn’t as awkward for her now that they were friends.

The cast of Boy Meets World has been rewatching the program on a podcast, which prompted Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga, to make an astonishing revelation. She confessed to having a crush on Rider Strong, who played Shawn. It began during season 1 filming and continued through season 2. Strong was shocked because she’d never told him that before.

Matthew Perry said that he was “immediately taken by Jennifer Aniston” three years before Friends began filming. He tried to ask her out, but she declined, saying they could still be friends. Then, when they had to film Friends together, he found he was still madly in love with her, and it became uncomfortable to even greet her. The actor was always asking himself stupid questions, such as, “How long can I look at her? Is 3 seconds too long?”

The Harry Potter reunion pulled the former co-stars closer together, as Daniel Radcliffe remembered having a crush on Helena Bonham Carter while shooting the movies. On the last day of filming, he sent her a note that said, “It was a pleasure being your costar (…) I do love you, and I just wish I had been born 10 years earlier. I might have been in with a chance.”

Helena Bonham Carter did steal another heart from Harry Potter star. While Emma Watson, who played Hermione, had feelings for him, Felton was completely blown away by Bonham Carter. He appreciated her, calling her “completely unique,” comparing her to an “English rose with a twist.” He also remembered that when the camera turned off, it was “all hugs and darlings, then when the camera starts rolling she turns into a complete psycho.”

She released a song named “Lie a Little Better” in 2014, which mentions her having a huge crush on someone, and fans were curious as to who the lyrics were referring to. Years later, she confessed that it was written to her Jason co-star Drew Van Acker. She explained that she wanted to catch people’s interest for a longer time, which is why it took her so long to finally tell her fans the truth.
