Disney’s popular animated movies are set in different old times throughout history. Recently, several are slightly present-day more than others, but they mostly took place in the distant past, in a faraway land. Even though our favorite Disney movies’ princesses may have beautiful outfits and the main characters look modernly magnificent, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are the most authentic.
Disney gives a thousand shreds of information about the set time and places of their famous movies, which are mainly based on fairy tales. Therefore, it is easy for talented artists in cyberspace to imagine what these characters would have looked like if they were truly historical people. It doesn’t mean they hate Disney’s works. They are purely curious and interested in their own ideas.
