Los Angeles – Hollywood star Anna Faris has expressed her willingness to return to the “Scary Movie” franchise, provided two key conditions are met.
Faris, who portrayed the character Cindy Campbell in the first four films of the parody horror series—”Scary Movie,” “Scary Movie 2,” “Scary Movie 3,” and “Scary Movie 4″—revealed her stipulations in an interview with People magazine.
When asked what it would take for her to make a comeback, Faris responded candidly, “Well, money,” highlighting her first condition.
Additionally, Faris emphasized the importance of reuniting with co-star Regina Hall, who played Brenda in the franchise. Both actresses chose not to participate in the fifth installment, released in 2013.
“I would love to work with Regina again. I just love her so much. We would make each other giggle all day long. Regina Hall would be my answer. And money. But mostly all Regina,” the 47-year-old actor shared.
Reflecting on her experience, Faris acknowledged the significant impact the “Scary Movie” series had on her career.
“If there is a high school comparison for my growth experience, those four movies played an important role in my life in terms of teaching me how to use props, how to fall, how to get hit in the head, and even how to hold Chiclets in my mouth and spit them out with blood at the right moment for the camera,” she said.
In addition to her role in the “Scary Movie” franchise, Faris has appeared in several notable films, including “The Hot Chick,” “Lost in Translation,” “Brokeback Mountain,” “Just Friends,” “My Super Ex-Girlfriend,” “What’s Your Number?”, and “The Dictator.
She has also lent her voice to animated features like “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” and “Alvin and the Chipmunks.”
Currently, Faris stars in the action-comedy “My Spy: The Eternal City,” alongside Chloe Coleman and Dave Bautista. The film, directed by Peter Segal, is now streaming on Prime Video.
