Sam Wilson May Have To Face Off Against Samuel Sterns In Captain America 4
The cast also includes Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Thunderbolt Ross and Tim Blake Nelson reprising his role as Samuel Sterns, now fully transformed into the Leader. Director Julius Onah, speaking to Empire, pointed to the peculiar pressures Sam faces:
Some of the struggles that are going to present themselves for Sam, working within the government as Captain America, are the decisions that he’s going to make. The vantage point that he’ll take from time to time may sometimes put him at odds with the President. He finds himself almost standing between Samuel Sterns and what he thinks the government owes him and how he wants to go about getting that.”
While Steve Rogers had the Super Soldier Serum, Sam Wilson does not, and this results in far greater tension and excitement in the fight against the Leader. The action is adrenaline-driven in the movie, and it ranks among the most hyped installments of the MCU franchise. Be sure not to miss “Captain America: Brave New World” in theaters on February 14, 2025.
