There are moments when we must balance between job and family, just as everything else in life. This can be a bit more challenging for celebrities because they have such a hectic schedule that it’s tough for them to relate to someone who lives a normal life. Matt Damon, on the other hand, put his heart first by falling in love with Luciana Barroso and becoming a member of her family, while also managing to strike a balance between his profession and his time with his beloved ones.
Matt Damon‘s present wife, what thoughts he had upon learning of her essential profession, and what he admires most about his family are all revealed here at Daily Highlight.

Luciana Barroso met Matt Damon in Miami, where she was working as a waitress and raising her 4-year-old daughter, Alexia, alone. Damon was on the set of a film when he approached Barroso after signing autographs and interacting with fans.
Barroso recounts, in her own words: “We definitely had a connection right away. It was so easy to talk to each other that we felt comfortable. When you meet someone you have a connection with, it shows. And everything else, the part about him being a movie star, wasn’t really a factor. For me, it was just Matt.”
Barroso replied that she had to look after her 4-year-old daughter, Alexia, when Damon invited her out. And, much to the young woman’s astonishment, the actor voiced his respect by telling her, “I love that you’re a mom and that’s your priority,” demonstrating to her that this would not be a barrier to dating. They had three more girls after being married, all of whom they nurtured to be strong and kind.

Despite their 2005 wedding, the two chose to reaffirm their vows a couple of years later. In an interview, Damon stated that they intended to throw a great celebration with their entire family. He also had the chance to consult his brother (who had already been married for 20 years) what the secret to a happy marriage was, to which he simply replied, “I was very lucky.”
Damon believes he can live a tranquil life without exposing his family to the world because he did not marry an actress or another star. He also adds that his dates with his wife are infrequent, but that after picking up their girls from school, they always try to spend a night together.
“We have a 2-week rule,” Damon once shared, “I don’t go out for more than 2 weeks. I think you need to be with the person you love as much as possible. My wife is my soul mate. I don’t like to be separated from her.”

Damon said he never anticipated to be surrounded by ladies and that every day is a fresh learning experience for him and his girls.: “I’m learning so much, not the least of which is how much smarter girls are.”
He continued, “I operated under the assumption that us guys had a chance, but I realized when I was completely wrapped around my 2-year-old’s finger, and she knew it. If they can do that to us at 2 years old, when they’re fully grown we really don’t stand a chance.”
Damon likened the experience of becoming a parent to that of being the Grinch, but in a nice way: “When his heart grows five sizes, that’s what [becoming a father] felt like. It was like everything expanded in a way that I didn’t know was possible. And it was instant.”

His devotion to his daughters is so deep that he tattooed their names on his arm in the order in which they were born: Alexia, Isabella, Gia, and Stella. He had the name “Lucy” tattooed on his arm in honor of his wife, Luciana Barroso, with whom he decided to share the rest of his life with.
