Will Poulter has been cast as Adam Warlock in Marvel’s next sequel, according to reports. Following his tease at the conclusion of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Adam Warlock appears to be gearing up to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the next edition of the smash franchise. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is overseeing the film, which will be directed by James Gunn.

Details about the narrative are being kept under wraps, as they are with every Marvel movie. In November, production will begin.
Ayesha, played by Elizabeth Debicki, originally teased the character in a post-credit sequence from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, when she reveals to her chambermaid the ideal Sovereign she has constructed to help kill the Guardians once and for all. Fans have been waiting anxiously since that scene to see who will play that character, and their dreams have now been answered.

According to sources, James Gunn and executives began their prolonged hunt for the person who would portray Warlock at the end of August, with Will Poulter and many other actors auditioning for the coveted role. Given how delighted fans were when the position was originally revealed, executives and Gunn took their time with it, as is typical of any big Marvel product. Will Poulter’s test was simply too fantastic to pass up in the end.
Will Poulter, who is best known for his appearances in The Revenant and Detroit, has been busy on the small screen lately, most notably in the critically praised Amazon miniseries The Underground Railroad. He’ll next be featured in Dopesick, a limited series on Hulu. WME and Hamilton Hodell represent him.
