Following the impressive box office performance of Despicable Me 4, Illumination and Universal Studios jointly announced their plans for Minions 3. The beloved yellow characters will return to theaters on June 30, 2027.
Brian Lynch, known for his work on Minions and The Secret Life of Pets films, will contribute the screenplay. The directorial reins will be held once again by Pierre Coffin, the visionary behind the Despicable Me and Minions franchises. Coffin has also lent his voice to the Minions since their introduction in 2010.
