The mysterious terror From Black, featuring Anna Camp from Pitch Perfect and True Blood, has begun filming in Natchez, Mississippi this week.
In the movie, a young mother is given an unusual chance to find the truth about her small son’s abduction five years before. The film explores if she is prepared to pay the horrific price to rejoin her child.
Jennifer Lafleur (Big Little Lies), John Ales (Euphoria), Travis Hammer (Godless), and Ritchie Montgomery are among the cast members with Anna Camp (Ozark).
From a screenplay by Marchese and Jessub Flower, Thomas Marchese (Fallen) directs. Marchese of Dark Room Films, Kelly Frazier of K7 Entertainment (Murder at Yellowstone City), and Vincent Cardinale of Cardinale Productions are the producers (The Fallout).
Anna Camp, Cesar Mercado, Humberto Carillo, James Norrie, Bob Portal, and Inderpal Singh are executive producers for Amp, which is in charge of global distribution.
Marchese expressed his thoughts as follows: “The idea was to take a dark police procedural and cross it into a flat-out terrifying supernatural horror story. And I really feel we have nailed the tone and hit that mark in a big way”
