If Rick Flag does show up in Season 2, it’s a bit of a puzzle. Peacemaker killed Flag in The Suicide Squad, which he regretted in the first season of Peacemaker.
James Gunn has confirmed that Season 2 is part of the DCU, which means there could be a new version of Rick Flag or maybe even a flashback or hallucination.

There’s also news that Frank Grillo will be playing Rick Flag Sr. in Season 2, and there might be some tension between his character and Cena’s Peacemaker due to their past. Grillo has hinted that things are going to get intense between them.
Whether Rick Flag is alive or just appearing through the multiverse or in a flashback, we’ll have to wait and see.
New Faces Join Peacemaker Season 2 Cast
Season 2 of Peacemaker will feature new cast members like Tim Meadows, Sol Rodríguez, and David Denman.
Returning stars from Season 1 include Cena, Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks (Leota Adebayo), Freddie Stroma (Adrian Chase, aka Vigilante), and Jennifer Holland (Emilia Harcourt).
