It appears we have a cinematic universe unfolding before us, as the image above is set to feature in the credits of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2.
“Unannounced characters from the universe will be revealed in sketch drawings in the closing credits of Pooh 2 so keep an eye out!” the movie’s producers informed Bloody Disgusting.
According to the report, casting and director announcements are forthcoming, with production scheduled for this summer and a targeted late 2024 theatrical release.
The idea is that we’re going to try and imagine they’re all in the same world, so we can have crossovers,” explained Blood and Honey director Rhys Frake-Waterfield regarding his horror plans. People have been messaging saying they really want to see Bambi versus Pooh.

Pinocchio: Unstrung Horror Film Expands Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood & Honey Universe
Pinocchio: Unstrung is part of a trend of horror adaptations of public domain stories, following the success of Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey.
Alongside the team’s work on Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, other creative teams are also jumping on the bandwagon with movies like The Mean One, Cinderella‘s Curse, Cinderella’s Revenge, and Mickey’s Mouse Trap.
Pinocchio’s eerie elements, like transformation scenes and menacing characters such as the Terrible Dogfish, pose a challenge for the movie.
This is because the character has been portrayed as a bloodthirsty slasher before, as seen in the 1996 film Pinocchio’s Revenge starring Verne Troyer.
This history presents a hurdle for the 2024 horror adaptation to achieve the same level of notoriety as Blood and Honey.
