The first season aired from January 7 to March 30, 2024, for a total of 12 episodes, covering 5 out of 200 chapters. The reviews for the anime were also incredibly positive.

Adapting the popular Korean manhwa from Chugong and Studio Redice, the story of Solo Leveling follows Sung Jinwoo, an E-Rank hunter an E-Rank hunter who, following a near-death experience, becomes a Player endowed with the power to level up by completing quests.

The series quickly amassed a devoted fanbase, thrilled by the announcement of more adventures to come with Jinwoo. While specifics on the second season’s details remain scarce, the continuation promises more of Jinwoo’s journey as he navigates the perils and politics of guilds and dungeons.

The inaugural season set a high benchmark with its blend of thrilling action and compelling storytelling, promising that the second cour, “Arise From the Shadow“, will elevate the saga to new heights (or depths, since, they’re dungeons).
