Now, we all agree that child care in the US is expensive, there is no getting around that. Group care, such as daycare, is usually the least expensive option, while nannies and au pairs are the most expensive. Analyzing the data from 2015, Care.com discovered that nannies cost, on average, roughly $557 per week for just one child. That is a massive amount of money for the typical working-class family to spend each and every week, while they have to also consider other expenses in their lives. But for an A-list celebrity, that only amounts to mere pennies.
So all celebs have live-in nannies on call around the clock, right? Not necessarily. Even while they are more than capable to afford the greatest childcare options, that doesn’t imply they want to. In fact, a startlingly high number of extremely busy, professional celebrities have chosen to look after their children on their own, either without any help or only the occasional date night babysitter. Here are some famous people who do not need nannies in their households. Keep scroll down and check them out!

They have two daughters. Esmeralda was Eva’s first child, and she declared afterward, “I’m a very hands-on mom; I don’t have a nanny. No matter how exhausted I am, I continue. Even at four in the morning, she finds time to indulge herself when her girls are sleeping. Eva publishes pictures of her family online and makes an effort to spend as much time with them as she can. The image below was captioned, “They’ve won.”

James, Inez, and Betty are the three daughters that well-known parents are rearing. Spending as much time as they can with their kids is something they value highly. They make every effort to avoid having their work schedules conflict. The other parent remains home with the kids while the other is at work. The entire family participates in events together. Blake and Ryan do not want to expose their children to too much of the Hollywood lifestyle, though.
Once, Blake remarked that she had always wished for a large family. And if she could, she would adore having 30 kids. While Ryan spends most of his tweets talking about his kids. And he does it in a really hilarious way, saying things like, “My kid is just 6 months old and she is already sketching. I would hang it up on the fridge, but it’s total junk. Ryan is a kind parent in reality. He stated in one of his interviews that he had no difficulty getting up five times in the middle of the night to change diapers, and despite being weary, he always had this silly grin on his face.

“Once you have a kid, you become a lot more forgiving. You just think, like, ‘I can’t believe that another person did all these things for me, that I’m doing for this person right now!’ Like, that somebody woke up in the middle of the night this many times just to wipe my butt. It’s just profound to me. So you start to have a great deal more respect for your own parents. Not that I didn’t already. But I don’t know how my parents did it with 4 kids. 4 boys! Who basically did everything short of setting their own home on fire every single day of their lives. It’s gotta be pretty intense.”

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe raised two children together at the start of their careers, despite the fact that they are now divorced. If we hadn’t been as involved or if we had let nannies raise children, Phillipe says, “I imagine it would have been harder. I think then they would become spoiled.” He is relieved that he and Reese raised their children apart. “We raised 2 amazing children, who are now adults. I’m pleased with us because of that. In her previous marriage, Reese had another son. She is receiving assistance from her adult children from her first marriage in raising him.

The singer opted to hire a male nanny for her son after their divorce because she thought he needed more of a man’s influence. The poor boy is constantly surrounded by women. He jumps on me and injures my neck because, like other boys, he is quite violent. I came to the conclusion that he needed a friend—some wonderful guy with whom he could have fun and let off steam, she stated in an interview.

The actress was expecting her second kid when Jennifer’s daughter was 18 months old. They didn’t have a nanny, she claimed in an interview because doing everything yourself was incredibly fun. She understood after becoming a mother that everything pales in comparison to children. “My child is well, they don’t have the flu, they’re sleeping, and everything is great! That is truly put into perspective by that, she claims.
Jennifer appears content, despite the fact that raising children alone is probably not that simple. “The best thing I have ever done will always be marrying my husband, having our children, and watching them change and grow every day,” she posted on Instagram.

René-Charles, the singer’s eldest son, and the twins, Nelson and Eddy, are his other two sons. Following years of trying unsuccessfully to get pregnant, Celine made the decision to use in vitro fertilization. She said in the interview, “I didn’t have these children to not care for them, to dedicate myself to them 200-300 percent. The family had no intention of hiring a nanny. She remarked, “Sometimes it’s exhausting, but I’m pleased to do it day by day. Celine received support from her mother and sister, so she wasn’t entirely alone.

The famous couple co-parents their son and daughter. Mila and Ashton made the decision to raise their kids on their own, without the assistance of others. The couples are frequently photographed by the paparazzi while out for a stroll, at the store, or a theme park. Additionally, the kids are constantly there. When Ashton appeared on The Ellen Show following the birth of the family’s first child, she questioned him about having a nanny. Is the child’s care being shared only by you and Mila? There was a burst of applause after Ashton’s “Yes, there are only 2 of us,” which caused a round of applause. He continued, “We just want to know our children. We want to know what to do if the baby is crying, or sulking. And I think the only way to achieve this is to be with them.”

According to Mila Kunis, mothers should do what makes them content when it comes to feeding their children. And Mila found happiness in nursing her child, Wyatt, wherever she pleased. One of the most fashionable actors, Mila Kunis is very lovely when she walks the red carpet. But her appearance at home and at work is extremely different. She certainly prioritizes comfort when dressing for time spent with her family.
#8 Jessica Alba

The actress has three children. Jessica compensates her family for their assistance because raising children is a demanding and emotionally taxing job. She stated in a blog post after having her third kid, “My sweet Nanny Connie, nearly 10 years ago she came into my life and showed me the ropes with my newborn baby Honor,” thanking the author and claiming that she had learned everything from books. She showed me how to clean, nurse, and comfort my newborn. I was also taught the value of taking care of myself, and given space to experience all of my emotions, which made me feel less alone.

#9 Jenna Fischer

The TV actress who plays Pam in The Office is a mother to a boy and a girl. In her interview, Jenna said that she did not have any household help, including a babysitter, driver, chef, or personal trainer. “Like other working mothers, I’m attempting to find a way to balance everything. I’m just attempting to learn how to handle everything on my own,” Jenna explains.
“There’s a tendency to be cynical and say, ‘Of course, because someone cooked it for her,’ or ‘Of course, she’s on a date, because she had her nanny watch the baby,'” she continues, “when I say I’m going jogging with my son or eating certain things or whatever.” Without a doubt, no. I need people to understand that.
#10 Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves

The actor has three kids with his wife, a Brazilian model. Camila is primarily responsible for caring for them. We’re just like any other family, she claims. We work together on everything. And we aim to keep things as straightforward as we can. They share a home, and Camila’s mother helps out around the house and with the kids’ upbringing. “I don’t have a variety of nannies that wander about. A large number of nannies is not a problem. Simply said, I like to be really hands-on, adds Camila.

Camila started working again three months after having her last kid. She had to wake up at 5 a.m. after a night of breastfeeding, so those were challenging times. “Being back at work with such vigor so soon is challenging because your brain is not fully functioning. You’ve got the baby brain, she said in jest during the interview.
As Matthew previously said, “When I was eight years old, being a parent was basically the only thing I ever knew I wanted to do. My three children need a lot of guidance from me till they are 18 and living on their own. The thing I believe I do most honorably is to raise three children who are independent, responsible, and self-assured.
#11 Scarlett Johansson

The actress once had some strong opinions regarding nannies. She claimed that she could never have imagined having someone else raise her children before having her own child. She most likely invited the 14-year-old over to play Candyland with her kids. She reasoned that it would be better for her daughter to spend the day with a related adult than to stay with someone older than she is. I doubt I could ever employ someone full-time to take care of my kids, Scarlett remarked. I was not raised in that manner. I could not picture doing it for my children. I just don’t like it.
#12 Sarah Jessica Parker

The Sex and the City actress is a mother of three children. She is not assisted by a live-in nanny. Sarah Jessica and her husband Matthew Broderick reportedly make an effort to be hands-on parents and only use nannies when absolutely necessary. She believes that full-time parenting without a nanny shouldn’t be considered an extravagance, anything remarkable, or something to be praised for. What’s the purpose of having a family if you’re not going to actually participate in it, you know? That’s essential to both of us, and we don’t shirk it, the actress says.
