Morbius, Sony’s long-awaited film, has finally arrived in theaters, and the reception has been… well, definitely not what Sony had hoped for. On Rotten Tomatoes, critic sites, and Twitter, reviews of Morbius abound. They haven’t exactly sung the Spider-Man antagonist’s praises, though.
Fans have already circulated a slew of memes ridiculing Sony’s Spider-Man Universe film, claiming that Venom is a masterpiece in comparison to Jared Leto‘s Morbius. However, when fans strike out, the reaction, and poor Morbius reviews may have an impact on the whole superhero genre.
