How MCU Significantly Improved Electro In Spider-Man No Way Home Teaser Reveal

Spider-Man: No Way Home’s second teaser introduces the different multidimensional antagonists that will feature in the next MCU movie. No Way Home would break new ground by combining villains from across all 3 Spider-Man films. It gives Tom Holland’s Peter Parker the toughest battle after Thanos. There will be at least 5 different antagonists from other worlds that will unite together this time. Through the teaser, we get to see new appearances to known villains, such as Electro, that improve on his second film looks.
Max Dillon, aka, Electro was the main antagonist in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Dillon was an unnoticed and severely mistreated technician at Oscorp when he accidentally acquired incredible powers. Jaime Foxx’s Electro is strikingly similar to the Ultimate edition, featuring the body completely glowing blue. While modeled on the Ultimate comic series, many fans criticized his design, believing it was a little goofy.
#1 Yellow Lighting
The most compelling reasons for reintroducing Electro in Spider-Man: No Way Home being that he will be completely redesigned. In The Amazing Spider-Man 2 his electrical power has the icy blue color which is fairly strange for some reasons. But in this reappearance, Electro will have his comic-book-accurate yellow electrical surge and it seems very eye-catching.
#2 Classical Appearance
Electro now resembles his old comic form, as shown in the teaser. Max Dillon now dresses green electrician costume equipped with technological gadgets, and his electrical surges are yellow rather than blue. When Dillon’s lightning erupts around his head, the bolts mimic Electro’s 1960s costume’s yellow stars patterns.
#3 Iron-man Tech
Electro seems to be concentrating his energies via the new technology, which includes an Iron Man arc reactor at its core. Maybe there’s a plot explanation for this, which really is worth considering given that Electro originates from a different dimension than the MCU.
