Kyle Chandler in Mayor of Kingstown
Kyle Chandler’s visage initially surfaced in Renner’s key art, which he shared on social media today. Mayor of Kingstown, co-created by Sheridan and Dillon, follows the McLusky family, power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the imprisonment business is the sole successful industry. The series, which tackles issues including systematic racism, corruption, and inequality, takes a hard look at their efforts to restore order and justice to a community that lacks both.
Kyle Chandler will portray Mitch McLusky, Mike’s elder brother (Renner). In a community where jails are the economic engines for the entire city, he is a fixer both within and outside the prison system.
Hugh Dillon, Pha’rez Lass, Tobi Bamtefa, Emma Laird, Derek Webster, Taylor Handley, and Dianne Wiest are among the previously confirmed cast members.
Sheridan, Dillon, Renner, Fuqua, David Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, and Michael Friedman are executive producers on Mayor of Kingstown. The film will be produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions, and 101 Studios.
