The fan beloved sequel to Phoebe Waller-Bridge‘s show – Fleabag has finally arrived. The new Waller-Bridge series will begin filming before the end of the year, thanks to Prime Video’s approval. The plot is being shrouded in secrecy for the time being.
It’s the first show developed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge as part of her 3 years total agreement with Amazon Studios, which she announced in September. Fleabag’s second and last season won six Primetime Emmys for Prime Video, including Outstanding Comedy Series, while Waller-Bridge took home three awards.

Last year, Phoebe Waller-Bridge was momentarily scheduled to appear alongside Donald Glover in a show relaunch of the Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie film Mr. & Mrs. Smith at Prime Video/Amazon Studios. Following the success of Fleabag, she produced and acted in Run, an HBO rom-com show featuring Merritt Wever and Domhnall Gleeson. Waller-Bridge recently co-wrote Daniel Craig‘s final Bond film, No Time to Die, which made $774 million worldwide. She will next be seen in the forthcoming Indiana Jones film from Disney/Lucasfilm.
UTA, McEwan & Penford, UK’s Independent Talent Group, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole represent Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who also produced BBC America’s signature television thriller Killing Eve.
